Projects @ RSC

Students are invited for Final year B.Tech projects to be undertaken at Robotics and Mechatronics Lab (Robot Study Circle lab)-
The details are as follows -
Names of project-
1)Reconditioning of SCORBOT-4
2)Reconditioning of SCORBOT-6
3)Reconditioning of XRD Machine at Metallurgy department
Eligibility Criteria for above mentioned projects-
1) Group should be formed with a combination of students from different disciplines such as (ENTC/Comp./IT/Instru.)+(Mech./Prod./Elect/Meta)
2) Students should have interest in Robotics
 Infodesk system(based on touch-screen)
Eligibility Criterion-
A group of students from Computer/IT department
RSC also has some other interesting summer projects -
1)Reconditioning of BoeBot, Hex Crawler, Toddler, Robotic arm (various basic robots)
2)Web designing and development

Workshop on Autonomous Robots

      RSC is glad to announce a 2 day workshop for BEGINNERS on building an Autonomous Robot on 29th & 30th MARCH. The workshop will be conducted by Advanced level members of RSC. Focus is led on building a successfull Line Tracer Robot.

Registration Charges :

RSC Members : Rs. 1500 per team

Non – RSC Members : Rs. 1800 per team 

KIT :

        Our ready made Kit includes a fully configured Line Tracer Testing board(with Micro-controller),Chasis, pair of IR sensors, motors and few other components. Please note that the kit contents may vary.

* There should not be more than 3 Members in a Team.

Second Sem Meeting of all active volunteer and committee members of RSC

Dear Friends

We have to meet on Friday 18th Jan 07, at 05:00pm in RSC / Robotics lab of Mechanical Engg. Dept.

It is very urgent and all of us should meet for the discussions of ROBOCON 2008 preparation and some other points as well.

It is also coveyed to all of you that as per our plan , the advanced members who has completed their trg at KUKA, must report for the TATA motor visit scheduled on 19th Jan 08 @ 8:30 am at TATA motor,Pimpari.( Their names will be considered for the further advanced trg prg at KUKA )

Following two workshops in the second week of Feb 08 are under discussions, sugestions and participations from active members and all RSC members are expected at large scale.

1) Making of Micro-controller based ROBOT – 2 days W/S for beginners
2) Making of line follwer robot – 2 days W/S for beginners

Training at KUKA

Two days Training Programme for Advanced Members of Robot Study Circle

The training dates are as follows:

Venue : KUKA Pimpari

Batch 2 : 17th Dec basic Robotics + 18th Dec Advanced Robotics

Timings : 10am to 5pm

No arrangment for Food / lunch or conveyance / travelling.

Last date of registration : 23th Nov 2007 by 3:00pm with Prof S S Ohol in Mechanical Engg Dept

Once you register the name with Prof OHOL S S , it is compulsory to attend the programme.

Elegibility : Entries are for Advanced Members of RSC only.First 12 names will be considered for the training programme.

Complete course will be delivered by the Foreign Instructor i.e. KUKA Engineers. Certificates will be issued to the particepants after successful completion of the trg Programme by KUKA.

Visit to TATA Motors will be tentatively on 19.01.08, from 09.00-12.00 O’clock.
