“ The Line Follower Workshop –PRATHAM’14 ”
Each team will be provided with a specially designed Robot Kit (which includes sensor board, micro-controller, motor driver IC, obstacle detector, Gripper, 3 motors, chassis, course handouts)
Workshop is open for all College students, without any constraint of branch or year.
A great opportunity for First Year students to work practically and build something new and enter the world of Robotics.
Registration fees: Rs.3600/-per team
Each team can consist of maximum 3 members.

Join us to enter into the field of Robotics.
Finally, Elections of COEP Gymkhana has been conducted successfully, but this year’s elections were something different than previous elections. Because this year, elections were conducted using Electronic Voting Machine(EVM).COEP Students were also excited about EVM. This EVM was designed and developed by third year students of Robot StudyCircle from COEP.
Elections were held on 8th August, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and results were declared at 2 pm by Prof. A. D. Sahasrabudhe, Director, COEP.
Students of Robot Study Circle were working on this project from last 6 months. EVM works on batteries and stores the exact count even if the battery supply is disrupted at any point. It has the capacity of storing 65,000 vote counts.
Entire designing, development and fabrication of the EVM was done by the students in the college under the faculty guidance. Four EVM machines were used which enabled voting for three different posts using the same machine.The team is also planning to develop a Bio metric Machine to record attendance of the student voters in future elections.
Total 1682 students enjoyed their right to vote. Use of these machines has enabled the Gymkhana Management Committee of COEP to conduct the process faster, reliable and ensured accurate results within very short period of time.
Gymkhana Management Committee and many of the voters appreciated the simplicity and effectiveness of EVM.
RSC will continue its legacy with more such projects following…
